123999 - Study on Structural Design Scheme of Motion Suppression System
Although the rolling and pitching performance of conventional cylindrical FPSO is better than that of ship-type FPSO, the heave motion is severe. Poor heave performance not only causes excessive mooring force, but also requires a strong mooring system. And floating oil and gas production equipment can not install dry tree, greatly increase the project cost. In order to solve the problem of poor motion performance of cylindrical FPSO, a new motion suppression system scheme is proposed. The motion suppression system consists of an extended cylinder and a reducing structure. And the motion inhibition effect of different structure types on floating production unit is also different. Therefore, it is very important to make clear the structure design of motion suppression system.
In this paper, based on the overall preliminary design scheme of the motion suppression system and the results of calculation, the overall scheme is determined and the structure of the motion suppression system is defined. Then, considering the compatibility with the Floating oil and gas production unit structure, the preliminary structure scheme is determined. At the same time, according to the requirements of the code, considering the most conservative working conditions, the preliminary structural specification calculation is carried out. Secondly, the economy is considered, the whole life cycle operation process is comprehensively considered, the key parameters and component layout plan are optimized.
